Yippee?

Steve, Chase, our neighbor Charles and his younger brother Brandon all went to Cedar Saturday morning to deer hunt. They left at 5:30 am. By about 1:00 pm, Steve called and said no luck. They decided to call Bryce Bishop. He recommended one last spot to try and.......tah-dah! Steve shot his deer. The processing shop is closed on Saturdays (go figure?), but we were in luck. Bryce has a little shop at his house devoted to processing the meat from his hunts. So now the deer is hanging in his garage waiting to become jerky and gound venison. Request your orders quick, as I am sure it will go fast!

Sunburst Homes Rocks

Carolyn asked about Steve's homes. There is everything you would like to know on his website. It is still a work in process. Steve changes and updates it periodically. It also has a blog site, but I have not dared to branch out that far yet. Baby steps, baby steps......
But, here you go:

My baby sister

Cathy decided to come visit me in St. George for a couple of days. She brought Taj too. This was taken at the end of day one. We went to Albertson's, YW volleyball practice, spent too much time on The Office website and learned how to blog (well, I am still working on it). Tomorrow we will have to go shopping. And maybe go see some of the houses Steve has built. And of course take lots of pics of Taj.

Mom and Dad Pre-Phillipines

These pictures were not actually taken on the same day, but only a few days apart. It was Steve's idea to make the signs. Cathy and Mark were in St. George and helped, too. I wonder how they look now...almost 2 months later and half a world away.

Hi everyone! Yes I have decided to try my luck at this blogging craze. I realized that I liked looking at other people's blogs. It was nice to check in on what was going on in their lives. Plus it can count as a form of journaling, right? So here goes.......
